

A new era of Trojan football begins!


Tim Paske Appointed Head Coach
Tim Paske has been appointed to take over as Head Coach of the Greene Trojan football program. Tim, a Physical Education teacher in Greene, replaces former Coach Lynne Simmons, who retired at the end of last season, ending a very successful nine year career at Greene.
Virtually anyone familiar with Greene sports, is familiar with Coach Paske, as he is truly a "man for all seasons". Besides coaching football in the fall, he serves as the JV basketball Coach during the winter, as well as the Head Coach of the track team in the spring.
Coach Paske enters into his new assignment with impressive football credentials. He has served as an assistant in several high school programs in Michigan. He has also worked with the football program at the University of Michigan , as well as a scouting intern for the NFL's Buffalo Bills. The last few seasons he has served as the Head Coach of Greene Junior Varsity program, playing a major role in the resurgence in participation, as well as on field success.
Coach Paske is looking enthusiastically forward to 2003 and the exciting challenge of replacing Coach Simmons. To build on the foundation of excellence Coach Simmons established, and leading Greene to even greater success in the future.
